Cookie-free analytics.

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated visitor statistics: page views, referrer, country/region, and browser and device type. The tool sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address is not stored, and a temporary, anonymous visitor identifier is automatically discarded within 24 hours. The numbers cannot be tied to you as a person.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding how the website is used. The processor is Vercel Inc. (USA); transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

If you pick a language manually, the choice is stored locally in your browser ("b17-language"). It is never sent to us and is not used for tracking. The time-tracking tool for our own staff (/timer) uses a strictly necessary login cookie set only when signing in there. Neither requires consent under the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act — which is why the site has no cookie banner.

If you email hei@b17invest.as, we process your name, email address and the content of the enquiry in order to reply and follow up (legitimate interest, or contract where the enquiry concerns a customer relationship). Enquiries are deleted when no longer needed.

For our own staff, the time-tracking tool records name, date and hours. The data is stored in our internal work system and processed on the basis of the working relationship and bookkeeping obligations.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Contact hei@b17invest.as to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
