No fund, no outside investors, no time limits. The capital is our own — that gives us the freedom to build the way we believe things should be built.
We own long-term — the horizon is decades, not quarters, and companies are spun out only when it serves the product rather than the balance sheet. We do the work ourselves, line by line; we contribute time and labor, not just capital.
We put the problem before the technology — AI is the tool, not the goal. Every product starts with a concrete problem and an identified customer, never with an interesting technology in search of a home.
We aim for capital efficiency — healthy margins from day one, and growth financed by operations before we consider outside capital. And we build on Norwegian roots with global reach: products scale out once the foundation is solid, never before.
B17 is built to build.
B17 Invest was originally structured as a traditional holding company, but is in the process of becoming a proper technology AS. All projects — Plansett, Arfur, Dinbot, the Tales universe — are owned by the parent. As traction emerges, they may be spun off into their own entities, but on the company's terms.

Philosophy
Across the portfolio we share a technical foundation. B17 Command Center is a multi-agent AI system with 12 specialized agents running operations, product development and content. iOSE-DNA — the core of iose — is embedded in Dinbot and other products.
